About the Item
This Cobra table lamp, designed by Japanese designer Msayuki Kurokawa in the 1970s, is in very good condition. The flexible, yellow rubberized arm with a ribbed structure gives the lamp its name. The rubberized arm, with the base part in which the switch is located, is in very good condition. The black lacquered metal base shows minimal signs of wear, as does the metal shade.
This lamp was designed by Kurokawa in the futuristic space age design typical of the time and reflects the direction in which design has developed, not only in Japan. The German lamp manufacturer Staff has been shaping design development in the lighting sector for 80 years and always surprises with an extraordinary combination of functionality and aesthetics.
