Tabla table lamp, designed by Mario Barbaglia
Marco Colombo and manufactured by Italiana Luce, 1980s
Exceptional sculptural design with an adjustable and extendable arm that gracefully pivots on the peak of the cone base. The transformer of this halogen lamp houses in the base of the lamp. The arm is made of polycarbonate; it is surprisingly light and hence easy to adjust to different positions.
The on/off switch is located on the base offering two different light intensity settings.
The piece is in very good vintage condition. It still has the, often broken, glass protection piece that covers the halogen lamp.
The last photo is only to indicate the size of the lamp, but actually it's a different Tabla table lamp we had earlier.
