About the Item
Table Lamp by Oscar Torlasco for Lumi. Designed and manufactured in Italy, circa the 1950s. Petite scale comprising of a brushed aluminum front cap, black inner cap, and a weighted enameled base. Brush aluminum details throughout. The arm of this lamp has an ability to articulate with a pivot coupling, allowing the user to move direction as they see fit. The lamp holds a single E27 socket type, adapted for the US. We recommend a single 25-40w max bulb or LED equivalent. Original euro plug with US adapter.

Oscar Torlasco was born in Rome, Italy, in 1934. Torlasco designed many beautiful lamps. The most well known are the lamps he designed for Lumi. He designed for several Italian lighting manufacturers, including Esperia, Stilux, Lamperti and Stilkronen. Most of his designs are from the 1950s and 60s
