This vintage desk lamp was found in Belgium.
The base has a texture reminiscent of carved stone and is engraved with a decorative swirling relief,
while the shade is molded from resin with plants trapped inside like pressed flowers.
When lit, the flowers within the resin softly emerge,
giving off a soft light that is as if nature were quietly breathing, trapped in time.
The combination of simple materials gives this piece a poetic and warm presence.
