About the Item
A stunning and unusual mid-century pottery lamp. The lamp has a lovely vermilion glaze and a very interesting shape. It is unmarked but reminiscent of works by Bitossi. It has everything that Bitossi lamps were know for: a bold sculptural form, distinctive glaze and textural and carved patterns.
There isn't another one exactly like it available for sale today (nor could I find any auction comparisons for the last several years). This appears to be a rather rare example. It is a stunner.
If you're looking for something really unusual and colorful this may be the perfect thing.
