This unusual table lamp was designed and manufactured in France in the 1950s. The light features a hand-carved teak base depicting a stylized female bust with delicate facial features, detailed hair, and jewelry, reflecting the sculptural craftsmanship of mid-century French design. The figure supports a conical raffia lampshade with a fringed edge, adding a warm, organic texture and a soft, diffused glow when illuminated. The twisted fabric cord enhances its vintage authenticity. This striking 1950s table lamp beautifully merges artisanal woodwork with natural materials, embodying the bohemian elegance and exotic influences of the period. Measurements: Total height (with lamp shade): 19.7" (50cm) Depth: 4.7" (12cm) Width: 11" (28cm) Diameter of lamp shade: 10.2" (26cm), height 4.7" (12cm) The light has been rewired with new fabric cord.
