About the Item

Stunning large table lamp in mouth-blown Murano glass enriched with 24k gold and brass, completed by a parchment paper lampshade. This extremely rare and unique piece was designed by Tommaso Barbi and produced in Italy during the 1960s; the lamp is signed on the bottom. In fabulous condition, with no chips or cracks, the brass has a spectacular uniform golden patina that enhances its charm and historical value. This large lamp features a sculptural column in mouth-blown Murano glass, enriched with 24-karat gold powder that creates a refined shimmering effect and a sophisticated textured pattern. The glass stem is mounted on a beautifully shaped round base and is completed by an elegant conical parchment paper shade, which diffuses a soft, warm light that enhances the brilliance of the gold-infused glass. Professionally rewired and tested, compatible with both US and EU/UK standards; it uses a single E27 light bulb. A highly decorative and one-of-a-kind piece, perfect for elevating a Mid-Century, Hollywood Regency, or contemporary interior, and an outstanding addition for collectors of iconic Italian design.
