About the Item

A very handsome pair of Empire Period parcel gilt bronze 3 light candelabra of exceptional quality fine proportions, having been converted to table lamps decades ago. Both showing reeded columns decorated with finely chiselled richly gilded classical elements, rising from hipped supports atop conforming bases to neoclassical inspired capitals with chiselled gilded nozzles. Both fitted with custom made parchment shades with bronze painted banding and retaining their original flambeau shaped finials. Overall height to top of finial is 37”.
