About the Item

Many pieces are called a classic, but none deserve the title more than this iconic articulating angle poise task lamp. Originally designed in the 1930's by Jacob Jacobsen, and produced in Norway, this example was made in the USA, circa 1950/70's. The lamp is in very good, clean, working ready to use condition, showing only light cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age. The lamp features two arms which flex at their joint, a metal hood shade and a clamp on anchor. It is currently wired for US application, and accepts a standard size screw in bulb. Lower Arm 23 L x Upper Arm 19 L Hood Shade 8.5 L x 8.25 Dia. inches.
