About the Item

This original vintage French Art Deco small table lamp has a sculptural three-tiered triangular chrome base and a molded frosted glass shade. A wonderful example of the 1930s Art Deco. It is vintage yet modern and deco. We were told it is in some Art Deco books but in our library we cannot find which book it is in. Of course we do not have every Art Deco reference lighting book on the market. This lamp looks modern yet deco. It is for an intimate setting on a table or desk as an accent lamp. it is electrified and does not show the cord in the photos. Purchased in Paris. From the 30's. This vintage three-arm, three bulb wonderful classic vintage table lamp is totally Mid-Century Modern with a Tommi Parzinger style, circa early 1950s. It is monumental and fully restored. This is presented without a shade. The shade would fit over the top disk from the final. The finial is original, it has been re-wired with a gold cord. The brass has been beautifully re-polished. All of the white metal has been refreshed with white lacquer paint. Measure: It is 35" to the top of the white metal disk where the brass will hold the bulbs.
