About the Item
This wonderful over size vintage Victorian period lamp is designed with an onyx column embellished with doré' bronze. This rests on a decorative footed platform featuring more' bronze mythological serpents at all of four corners. An American cut glass shade
globe complete this grand ensemble.
The lamp is designed for a typical Victorian parlor. It was originally a kerosene lamp that was electrified with a single socket
an in line switch. The lamp retains all of its original components
can easily be converted back to original. Each of two turn levers identify the manufacturer's name, H A Stevens, New York, prominently. The lamp is in excellent physical and working condition.
