Schiller Majolica lamp base and burner which features an owl perched on a branch above rocks and foliage. The owl has original glass eyes. Colouration: brown, green, grey, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Schiller pottery.

- Condition:Good. Some wear around the hole in the head that supports the lamp. Not visible when lamp is attached. RESTORATION. Filled chips to lower base edge. Retouched flake to one leaf. Paraffin burner untested. N.B The burner can be easily removed.
