Every piece bears the “Richard Ginori - Manifattura di Doccia Florence Italy” backstamp, dating the service between 1965 and 1975, when Ginori successfully merged Tuscan decorative tradition with contemporary international taste.
The ‘Galli Rossi’ motif, first introduced in 1747, draws inspiration from Eastern aesthetics, chinoiserie and the 18th-century European fascination with the exotic. Its stylised roosters, delicate foliage, and refined palette reflect the cross-cultural influences that shaped Italian decorative arts of the period.
