About the Item
FABULOUS 19th century faux bamboo chevalier mirror from France. The mirror has rounded corners at the top and square corners at the bottom, and the cherry frame has been hand turned to have the appearance of bamboo. The mirror is suspended from a faux bamboo hand turned frame with fancy bolts, which add design interest.
The frame of the mirror is finished at the top with turned finials, and the legs are joined at the base with matching stretchers, which are separated by matching turned spindles. The feet are shaped and are also joined by stretchers.
This is a lovely piece that will look great in any setting in which it is placed.
