About the Item
Impressive 19th-century French Renaissance Revival Trumeau mirror crafted in richly patinated walnut with striking architectural detailing. Dating from circa 1870–1890, the mirror features a deeply carved frieze with scrolling acanthus motifs and a central classical mask, all executed by hand. Bold turned columns frame the original mirror panel, adding strong vertical presence and the sculptural character typical of the Neo-Renaissance period.
The frame’s warm walnut tones and substantial proportions make this a statement piece ideal for an entryway, dressing room, boutique, or living space. Large enough to serve as a full-length floor mirror, yet refined enough for wall mounting, it brings old-world craftsmanship and grandeur into any interior.
