About the Item
French freestanding cheval mirror, late 19th century. Walnut wood has been turned and white washed to resemble faux bamboo, the posts are capped with baluster finials. Featuring a full length central mirror attached to lateral supports allowing it to tilt for better viewing. Connected with decorative ladder rung style supports at the base, a paneled back protects mirror. The mirror has curved top corners in the style of Louis Philippe. An excellent choice for any home, perhaps placed in a bedroom or dressing room.
