About the Item
This is an elegant large mirror with a simple design in the Venetian style. Decorated with stars and a bevelled border.
Made in France in the 1920s.
This mirror has a simple, straight-edged rectangular shape with slightly beveled edges.
The frame is made entirely of mirrored glass panels, rather than wood or metal and the border is etched and engraved with delicate decorative details, including starburst motifs placed symmetrically near the top and along the sides
A subtle repeating etched pattern also runs along the outer edges
This elegant antique mirror is refined, minimal, and geometric, contrasting with more ornate earlier mirrors.
This style is characteristic of French or Venetian Art Deco mirrors, designed to reflect light beautifully while maintaining a restrained, modern elegance.
