About the Item
A mirror made around the 1950s in Murano glass, with decorative floral applications, also in Murano glass, in different colors. There is an additional engraved floral decoration in the frame.
Worked and produced by artisans who lend their labor on the lagoon island of the same name, Murano glass has a long history since Roman times. One of the important historical features, which make the pieces unique in the world, is the absolute uniqueness of the workmanship of these items, which are created exclusively in this area through peculiar processing techniques that have remained unchanged over the centuries.
The whole object measures 58x122x10 cm and is in good condition.
The two wooden feet serve as supports and will be removed when it is hung on the wall.
