About the Item

Obliquo is a mirror produced by Fiam in the late 1980s... elegant and minimalist fits into any environment without weighing it down. The 8-mm-thick mirror is perfectly embedded in a 1.2-mm-thick curved crystal frame that supports it by acting as legs. The part of the legs in contact with the floor is protected by an invisible aluminum profile. The profile of the mirror in contact with the floor is insulated with neoprene. Dimensions: H. 162 x D. 48 x W.54 cm Massimo Morozzi, an Italian architect and designer who co-founded Archizoom, is the designer of the FIAM Obliquo curved glass mirror. A co-founder of the Archizoom Group, he remained a member until 1972. Later associated with the CDM group - Consultants Design Milan - develops coordinated image projects (Airports of Rome) and product lines (Louis Vuitton Paris). In 1982 he opened an independent studio and directed his attention to the field of product design of household service objects. Projects, works and exhibitions of the designer... Functional innovation and strong figuration are the referents of recent achievements with Alessi, Cassina, Driade, FIAM, Giorgetti, Ideal Standard, Mazzei, Tendentse, Edra, Progetti, Metals and Sintesi. His works are in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York and the Musée des Arts Decoratives in Paris.
