About the Item

In the manner of John and Francis Booker of architectural form with a broken pediment centred by a foliate carved urn over a rectangular plate flanked by fluted columns. These mirrors are similar in style to a pair carved by the famous Dublin firm of Francis and John Booker circa 1750, Glin Castle, Co. Limerick. See The Knight of Glin and James Peill, Irish Furniture, Yale University Press, 2007, P 140-141.
