About the Item
We present this elegant antique Italian mirror dating back to the early 19th century, Empire period. An extremely refined mirror.
Made of fine walnut wood and characterized by an elegant linearity, two majestic lateral pilasters decorate the front and add grandeur with their black color. A small golden frame around the mirror gives a distinct chromatic accent.
Its dimensions are imposing, developing in height this mirror was originally designed to be placed above a fireplace. Today you can choose to place it differently wherever you want a mirror with a timeless antique flavor.
The mirror is in good condition of conservation with some signs compatible with age. Please note as clearly visible from the photos that the mirror is antique mercury and has all the typical defects caused by the passage of time. The result of the reflected image is therefore defective, but consider this mirror as a fantastic antique furnishing accessory and not for its functionality.
