About the Item

A French Empire gold gilt mantel mirror from the 1800’s. The carved frame has its original gold gilt finish revealing the reddish bole beneath with decorative floral appliqué details stationed around the perimeter. The original mercury glass plate shows patches of foxing and light crystallization. Be sure to view the detailed images to see the current condition of this antique mirror.
