A beautiful Trumeau 19th Century mirror painted and with gilded parceling, rectangular mirror in a greenish-gray rectangular frame and stucco decoration in gold leaf, rococo motifs and reliefs such as rolled acanthus leaves, foliage and rope effect.
A mirror of Rococo motif of the Second French Napoleonic Empire, from 1852 to 1870, in France. Trumeau is the name of a characteristically vertical mirror created in France in the eighteenth century. The word designates the wall that exists between two windows, where it was common to position this type of mirror, in order to increase the luminosity of the environment. Usually, the upper part is adorned with reliefs or other elements.
