This is a very fine quality inlaid mahogany English Bevel Glass Wall Mirror from the early Victorian period of the 19th century.
The mirror is well constructed with a jointed mahogany frame which has been inlaid with a band of Satinwood, all around and about one inch from the outer edge. The glass looks original to the piece and is heavy and nicely bevelled.
This mirror is slightly over square (22.25 high x 20.25 wide) and is currently hung portrait but could easily be hung landscape if required.
This is quite a heavy mirror weighing about 4.5Kg unpacked
We date this mirror to the mid-19th century, circa 1845.
Overall, a fine quality English 19th Century antique mirror.
