A large late Regence/early Louis XV period gilt-wood mirror with gilt-wood richly carved frame in the exuberant Rococo style. The crest with what appears to be a stylized poppy flower, surrounded by a field of roses, leaves scrolling vines in an a-symmetric, fluid arrangement. The silvered plate mirror in 2 parts.
