An Ornate French 19th-20th Century Louis XVI Style Giltwood and Gesso Carved Mirror.The rectangular shaped frame crowned with a floral urn flanked by acanthus, scrolls and leaves, the top of the mirror plate decorated with swaged floral garlands, the lower part with acanthus and floral elements. Circa: Paris, 1900's.

- Condition:Repaired: Gilding touch ups and some restorations to gesso. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. An impressive mirror, the gilt has some wear losses and touch-ups. The mirror plate has fogging streaks and wear, some buyer like the aged-worm silver behind the mirror plate, others will opt to replace it at their own cost and expense.
