Early 19th century French Empire mirror with original mercury glass mirror. Large scale Empire Gold Gilt mirror is a large statement piece. The gilt finish is worn away to reveal a stunning washed gesso patina. The neoclassical embossed motif is a classic French form. Original back boards.
