About the Item
A handsome and well proportioned carved and gilded wood framed Louis XVI mirror, having its original gilding that is beautifully aged. The intricately carved curved and pierced crown has a laurel wreath, cornucopias and a pair of kissing doves flanked by drapery swags.
The beveled plate glass mirror later replaced.
