The Floris mirror is a striking sculptural wall mirror crafted from hand-pieced mangrove wood roots, forming an organically dramatic, flame-like silhouette. Each section of mangrove root is individually selected and assembled by hand, resulting in a mirror that is entirely one of a kind, with natural variations in grain, texture, and movement.
Radiating outward from the central mirror plate, the irregular wood elements create a dynamic sunburst effect, evoking natural forms such as fire, coral, or wind-swept foliage. The richly textured surface and warm golden-brown tones of the mangrove wood lend depth and visual interest, making the piece as much a wall sculpture as a functional mirror.
