An exquisite table mirror from the first half of the 19th century, finely executed in solid silver mounted on a carved walnut back. Richly decorated throughout, the silver frame displays dense and elegant repoussé ornamentation, culminating in a striking stylized hand motif crowning the crest—an evocative and symbolic detail characteristic of the period’s decorative vocabulary.
The mirror retains its original walnut backing, warm in tone and beautifully patinated, providing a refined contrast to the sculptural silver front.
