A sensational and high quality 18th century, circa. 1760 Trumeau from Turin, Italy. The Trumeau with two intricately carved and gilt panels of maidens, birds, wheat, leers, serpents and the sun. The original mirror plate is decorated by a pleated purple silk and carved gilt acanthus leaf border. Above is the original painting of a roman in his chariot with two horses about the clouds. Exceptional quality throughout.
