19th Century French Neoclassical Painted Trumeau ca. 1870.
19th century Louis XV style elegant French Trumeau wall panel. The panel is a symmetrical, rectangular shape and features giltwood molding on a cream painted background. Classic characteristic ornamentation, ribbon, garlands and Greek urns, adorn and accentuate this grand architectural piece. The wall panel mirror is topped with an embossed design picturing a mythological scene in relief. The Trumeau represents an important part of art history and architectural heritage.
Good antique condition. Wear consistent with age and use.
