About the Item
Elegant boiserie trumeau panel in the Louis XV style, dating from circa 1880, beautifully carved and decorated with a central bas-relief composition of musical instruments, floral garlands, and ribbons. The upper portion features a finely detailed stucco relief depicting violins, trumpets, and sheet music surrounded by scrolling foliage, all framed by a curvaceous wooden molding with rococo flourishes.
The lower section includes an original antique mirror with age-appropriate foxing, adding authentic charm and historical depth. The entire piece showcases the exquisite craftsmanship typical of late 19th-century French decorative arts, designed originally as part of grand wood-paneled interiors.
