About the Item

Magnificent large paneled overmantel in grey/green lacquered wood, generously decorated with foliage, rockeries and flowers in carved and gilded wood. Oil on canvas in the upper part presenting an animated scene depicting an allegory of hospitality. Old work from the 1st half of the 19th century. Very beautiful leaf gilding. Very good condition (some flaws in the mirror).
