A very decorative mirror, dating to the mid 20th century circa 1960, it has the traditional lacquer finish which as usual is on a black background to really made the gold leaf pop, it has been as you can tell, hand decorated and painted in the Chinoiserie taste. The frame is hardwood most likely oak, and the glass is the original plate which has a deep hew to it
We have cleaned waxed and polished it, there will be normal patina marks but this type of furniture lasts forever
