About the Item
A beveled wall mirror with carved and gilt double surround. The elaborate crest with a winged bust with tall leafy headdress flanked by scrolling acanthus leaves. The upper sides with carved pendant bell flowers. With a carved leafy inner surround and ribbed outer one. Overall fine antique patina to the gilt.
H. 38", W. 22", Depth 2 1/4"
Condition: Please see detail photos. There are signs of age including wear to the surround, Slight corner wear, a few gilt touch-ups, some age related losses to the mirror silver with the presentation remaining refined and very strong.
