About the Item
An 18th century Louis XVI French Provençal giltwood bridal mirror. Beautifully carved three dimensional crest with acanthus leaves and flags, and an oval plaque with a horn and a quiver of arrows. Laurel garlands drape down the sides. Retaining a lovely gilt finish, in exceptional condition for the age. Mirror is original with nice old silvered patina. All original. Found in the South of France. #7290
