Elegant Italian ceramic mirror dating from the 1950s, distinguished by its sculptural, hand-modeled frame and refined post-war aesthetic. The rectangular mirror plate is surrounded by a richly textured ceramic border composed of rhythmic looped elements, meticulously shaped by hand and finished with a gloss glaze in soft blush pink, complemented by subtle aqua-toned detailing along the inner edge.
The organic modeling and delicate color palette are characteristic of mid-century Italian ceramic production, where decorative arts balanced craftsmanship with modern design sensibilities. The surface displays gentle variations in form and glaze, inherent to handmade ceramic work and highly valued by collectors.

- Condition:Repaired: The ceramic frame previously exhibited a small number of losses, which have since been professionally and invisibly restored by one of Milan’s leading ceramic conservators. The repairs are expertly executed, fully stable, and visually seamless. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. The mirror s ceramic frame has been professionally cleaned, and some of the rear screws have been replaced. The mirror is oxidized but original to the piece, and the wooden piece is also original; these can, of course, be changed.
