About the Item

19th century wonderfully hand carved cushion mirror which came out of the grand house Locksley Hall in Staffordshire. The outer frame is hand carved and has a glorious pattern of leaves and scrolls. The inner frame is also hand carved with joining acanthus leaves and a carved inner frame, separated by mirror for a cushion effect and wonderful depth for added design elements. This mirror came out of Locksley Hall in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire in 2006 when it was renovated.
