This early nineteenth century French Restauration period gilt wood mirror features its original mercury glass. The frame is detailed with floral cartouches in each corner, as well as additional floral detailing, and an inset border of scrolling surrounds the mirror. With a symmetrical form, this versatile mirror could be restrung to hang horizontally. c. 1820.
