A beautiful gilt gesso wall mirror, most likely was originally a mirrored central panel, the gesso floral swags and raised beaded edge clearly and wonderfully time worn, areas of lost gesso, incredible foxing to the mercury mirrored plate, completely worn away to the bottom. Truly a decorators dream, in aged blue and white paint, with flourishes of gilt throughout, looks like it has been lifted straight out of an 18th century chateau, (which it was), gorgeous!
