Antique mirror from the Napoleon III era offering a striking contrast (black and gilt). The blackened stucco frame is richly decorated with gilded and patinated leaf scrolls. The edge of the mirror is finely highlighted by an elegant frieze of pearls. Gilding to the leaf. Frame width: 9.5 cm / 3.74 in. Modern glass mirror.
