A fine antique, Queen Anne style mirror or looking glass.
With a mahogany veneer.
Having a scrolled crest and carved and gilt stylized shell device above a rectangular scroll molded inner band with central mirror plate flanked by scrolled ears above a shaped apron with a star inlay.
Retains its original glass with losses to much of the original silvering.
Simply a wonderful Queen Anne style mirror!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There are losses to the silvering in the mirror, a few spots of veneer loss, some edge wear, and some expected checking and expansion cracks in the veneer. Otherwise, there are some fine
light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
