Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of Antique English Victorian Velvet framed display shelf Sorcerer's mirrors circa 1870-1880 Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price These mirrors are absolutely sublime, they were designed to sit on the wall and have a candle in front of them, the light from the candle would then be set all around the area via the Sorcerer's circles, they can also be used (now we don't need candles so much) for displaying small trinkets and statues The frames are upholstered in the period Boudreaux velvet which has nicely aged and patinaed, the backs have some kind of faux leather panels which are very hard wearing, the mirrors are as mentioned Sorcerer's which are super collectable and very expensive when originally made hence why they have a cult following now a days The condition is period perfect, there is wear to the velvet, foxing to the glass, you couldn't wish for a more original pair of antique mirrors Dimensions Height:- 47cm Width:- 34.5cm Depth:- 16cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
