About the Item

A beautiful and very well made antique Regency painted gilt wood mirror. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1800-1820 period. It is of lovely quality and is a very useful size. The gilt wood has a fantastic patina, there are lovely details and the upper panel is hand painted with a wonderful farm scene. The condition is excellent for its age, with only some minor wear here and there to the frame, and some wear to the silvered backing of the original mirror. This displays a gorgeous overall patina. Width – 16 inches , 40 cm Depth – 2.5 inches , 7 cm Height – 32 inches , 81 cm
