About the Item
A handsome 19th century, 17th century Dutch style ebonized wood mirror with thick rough marble veneer on the frame and original leaded glass mirror. Probably Dutch, circa 1860.

- Condition:Repaired: The rouge marble veneers show two old repairs on two horizontal fractures in the marble. Minor losses to the wood frame, original leaded glass shows "desilvering", which is caused by the reflective silver layer on the back of the glass corroding. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Minor fading.
