This is a refined Art Deco mirror, manufactured in France in the 1940s. The mirror is frameless, with the frame effect created entirely by the glass itself. At each of the four corners, the mirror forms sharp, faceted points, while the edges are shaped with subtle sinuous curves, characteristic of late Art Deco elegance.
The front is adorned with two circular metal mounts, which are not purely decorative: they also serve as part of the original wall-mounting system, securing the mirror from the rear. This combination of function and ornamentation is typical of high-quality French Art Deco design.
