About the Item
This bold Art Deco Skyscraper Style Pyramidal Mirror in Oil Rubbed Bronze originates from the France , Circa 1935. Featuring a carefully scaled geometric frame in Solid Bronze, the framework is widest at the base with stepped skyscraper detailing rising along each side of the piece. The textural variation achieved in the caste bronze is dynamic and beautifully achieved, a rounded volcanic texture on a majority of the frame with linear carved grooves dashing the bottom of the frame and skyscraper elements to either side. The mirror panel has beveled edge detailing reflecting light and adding subtle detail when viewed in motion. This piece will style beautifully in a wide array of interiors and settings, from Classic Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary design. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
