About the Item
This elegant Art Nouveau wall mirror dates to around 1900 and was most likely made in France. The frame is veneered in beautifully figured bird’s eye maple with a warm golden tone and the soft, organic contour typical of the period. The mirror plate is beveled all around, enhancing the curved shape and reflecting light with subtle depth and movement. Finely cast brass ornaments with a gilt finish decorate the upper and lower sections, adding decorative highlights to the composition. The mirror glass appears original, showing scattered age-related spots that confirm its authenticity. The back panel is made of solid softwood with the original hanging wire. A refined and decorative Art Nouveau mirror that combines natural materials, fine craftsmanship, and the timeless charm of early 20th-century French design.
