Näkki is a handcrafted, round wall mirror made from mold-blown glass and silver-plated using traditional techniques. This limited edition piece is the result of a collaboration between Swedish designer Sanna Völker, based in Barcelona, and master glassblower Ferran Collado, known for his expertise in both historical and experimental glassmaking.
Each mirror in the Näkki series is sculptural and unique, featuring a three-dimensional, ripple-like surface that evokes the subtle movement of water. Inspired by Scandinavian folklore and the architectural works of Aino Aalto, Näkki captures a poetic tension between mystery and reflection. The mirror’s textured, silvered surface distorts and reframes its surroundings, offering a haunting and beautiful interpretation of the traditional wall mirror.
